With the non-profit, independent Life Science Factory, Sartorius aims to promote start-ups and attract founders from the life science sector. The Life Science Factory offers space and support for scientists and young companies that want to take their first steps outside of academic institutions. Since January 2022, the Sartorius Quarter has been home to approximately 3,300 m² of state-of-the-art, fully equipped laboratory space, a prototyping workshop - the Maker`s Factory - as well as office, event and community space. Life science start-ups can use the S1 (and S2) labs including state-of-the-art equipment and full service. This infrastructure, embedded in a dense program of mentoring and networking offers, guarantees young start-up teams a fruitful exchange and working in the midst of the life science community.
The Life Science Factory commissioned us to support press relations even before the opening of the Sartorius Quarter in January 2022. The aim was not only to create awareness of the brand and the concept, but also to generate the attention of potential biotech startups and attract the first tenants. These goals were achieved through targeted communication in trade and startup media as well as regional daily newspapers.
